Not strictly, but we strongly recommend it. Because the hammam and treatment rooms are given to one group at a time, capacity is limited — evenings and weekends often fill days ahead. You can book on the site or over WhatsApp in a couple of minutes.

Nothing. Towels, a peştamal wrap, slippers and disposable underwear are provided. You are welcome to bring your own swimwear; shower gel and hairdryers are available in the changing area.

At Lilyum the hammam is given to one group per session. If you come alone it is yours alone; if you come as a couple or a group it is yours. You never share it with other guests.

Yes. Just add it to the note field on the booking form or to your WhatsApp message. We have both female and male therapists on duty every day, and your request is confirmed in the confirmation message.

We suggest arriving 15 minutes before your session. That is enough time to change, shower and talk briefly with your therapist about the flow that suits you.

We accept cash (TRY, EUR, USD) and credit cards. A 10% cash discount applies to packages that include a massage; hammam-only programmes are excluded. Payment is taken at reception after your session.

Children over 6 may use the hammam accompanied by a parent. Massage treatments are offered to guests aged 16 and above. Let us know in advance for family visits so we can plan the flow accordingly.

For pregnancy, high blood pressure, heart conditions, acute injury or skin infections, please consult your doctor first. If you share a known condition when booking, your therapist will choose a suitable technique.

Of course. Lilyum sits inside Aspera Golden Horn Hotel but is open to outside guests. You do not need to be a hotel guest; simply make a reservation.

We are about a 5-minute walk from Şişhane metro station and 10 minutes from Galata Tower. A taxi from Taksim takes around 10 minutes. The hotel offers valet service; let us know in advance if you are driving.

You can cancel or change free of charge up to 4 hours before your session. For later cancellations or no-shows, the session is counted as used.

Yes. We issue personalised gift vouchers for every package, valid for 6 months. Just message us on WhatsApp and we will prepare them digitally or in print.
